I love to paint! The more I do it the more I realize that it is very relaxing and rewarding. This weekend I painted the letter for the Painted Lilly Letter contest winner, Marina. Marina asked that I paint Lilly Pulitzer's 'First Impression' for her. This is one of my favorite prints to paint.
The process is fairly simple. I start off my gathering all my materials and then begin sketching out the print. By the time I know it the paint is drying and I am done! If you want some step by step advice on painting a Lilly print check out Part 1 of this post: Painted Lilly Letter.
I have one last piece of exciting news... Jessica Marie Design is now on etsy! I have opened a shop called The Preppy Greek! I currently have Lilly Pulitzer painted letters for sale and will be putting more stuff up this week!
