Future Mrs iPhone Cases, Notebooks, Keychains and More

A couple of weeks ago my friend Briann asked me to design a new iPhone case for her to commemorate her recent engagement. With that task in mind I created a "Future Mrs." case for her and also designed a whole bunch of other Future Mrs. gifts!

DIY: Mini Binder Printable Dividers

Free Printable Dividers for your mini binder!

The bf got me the cutest little binder at Target a couple of weeks ago and I am obsessed! He says I like it because it's little and cute. He's right! I don't know why, but it being smaller than a normal binder does make it appealing to me.

Well at first I was a little confused about where I would get paper for my mini binder and after finding the mini binder section at Target, yes it exists, I found paper packs and dividers. I wasn't really impressed with the selection so I opted out of getting dividers and of course opted for making my own. I made the mini dividers into an editable PDF that you can download for free, customize, print, and enjoy!

Free Printable Dividers for your mini binder!

DIY Mini Binder Printable (Monogram!) Dividers

Materials:

Instructions:
  1. Download the free Mini Binder Printable Dividers PDF
  2. Open the file in Adobe Reader. You can download Adobe Reader for free here. Why Adobe Reader? Because without it instead of the pretty monogram font you will just see plain text, no fun!
  3. Edit the monogram using the following format: First name initial: lowercase, Last name initial: uppercase, Middle name initial: lowercase
  4. Edit the tab text and cover text to say whatever you'd like!
  5. Save the file and print. I recommend printing on this card stock.
  6. With your files printed now it's time to cut out each divider.
  7. Since binders have different rings I decided against adding hole punch guides so for this step take a page from your mini binder and align it with the divider to see where you should hole punch. I used this adorable pink hole punch
  8. Place the mini dividers in your mini binder and enjoy!

    Printable Monogram Bookmarks

    Printable Monogram Bookmarks!

I ordered a bunch of books from Amazon a few weeks ago and most of them have to do with blogging and being a creative enteprenuer. I am extremely passionate about design and really enjoy reading about how to continue building my design business. I can't tell you if the books are any good yet but I'll be sure to review them for you once I am done!

Anywho, as I've started reading the books, I've used everything from recipts to post it notes as bookmarks. I've had my fair share of actual bookmarks but somehow I always end up losing them. So I put my creative problem solving brain to work and came up with printable monogram bookmarks! I feel so silly that I hadn't thought of this sooner! With printable bookmarks I can print out a ton and have them handy for whenever they are needed. Losing them won't matter anymore because I can always print out more!

Free Printable Monogram Bookmarks I create a set of bookmarks perfect for spring and summer reading. I call them Fold Over Bookmarks. I don't know if there's a better name for them, but to me it makes since since you fold over the top part to wrap over the page you want to mark!

    Materials
    1) Bookmark PDF
    2) Adobe Reader (This will let you change the monogram to your own)
    3) White Card Stock
    4) Printer
    5) Scissors

    Instructions
    1) Download the Bookmark PDF
    2) Open the PDF in Adobe Reader
    3) Customize the monogram for each bookmark (left initial: lowercase, center initial: uppercase, right initial: lowercase) Learn about Monogram Etiquette>>
    4) Print the bookmarks on White Card Stock
    5) Cut the bookmarks out
    6) Fold the bookmarks at the dashed line
    7) Admire your adorable monogram bookmarks and get reading!

Do you have a summer reading list?

    Preppy Printable Binder Covers

With winter break behind most of us (at least for those of us who were lucky enough to have one!) it's time for us to go back to school, return to work, or follow through with our organization plans for the new year. For me it's organizing. I have various projects that I am working on, specifically for my 25 before 25 goals, and I want to keep them all in one place.

I bought a plain white binder with clear sleeves and knew I wanted to create something fun and colorful to decorate it. Of course I opted for a Lilly Pulitzer print and my monogram! So I set up my document in Adobe InDesign and came up with 7 binder covers, yes I know I went a little overboard but I couldn't decide which print I wanted to use!

Now you are probably wondering how this could be of any use to you and no it's not another tutorial of how you can make your own, instead I decided to make them completely customizable and all you have to do is download them and change the monogram to your own. Simple! Note, make sure your binder is big enough to hold your contents by checking the ring capacity.

    How to Customize:
    1. Click here to Download the PDF
    2. Open file in Adobe Reader. (Get the latest version of Adobe Reader)
    3. Select the existing monogram and delete
    4. Fil in your own monogram (Learn about Monogram Etiquette)
      1. First Initial = lowercase letter
      2. Last Initial = uppercase letter
      3. Middle Initial = lowercase letter
    5. Print your preppy binder covers on white card stock
    6. Admire your new lovely binder covers! Binders never looked this good!
