Apartment Wish List

The last couple of weeks have been crazy busy. I've asked "What day is it?" more than ever. Moving, getting organized, and setting up our apartment has been a fun and exhausting adventure. We'd purchased our living room furniture just to have them tell us that it wouldn't fit through the hallway or through our door. Thankfully it turned out to be a blessing in disguise because we found a living room set we loved even more!! It has yet to be delivered so I'm crossing my fingers that there won't be any problems.

After our furniture purchases I started putting together a decorating wish list.

Clearly I am in love with Navy! Mint and Navy are a perfect combination for any room! It will be a while before our apartment is all set up and decorated but I am excited to continue finding pretty pieces to make our home cozy.

With graduation season right around the corner I'm sure all anyone is thinking about is "Please let me pass my finals!" Graduating from college and high school is a very exciting time and a perfect way to capture the memory is with pretty graduation announcements. If I can get my boyfriend to stand still for a second I want to get some nice photos of him to use for his graduation announcement.

I've had an old and slow iPhone for the last couple of years. I'm talking about so slow that I refused to get online with it. It was really just a phone I would text with.

We're Moving to Houston!

So I think it's time I let y'all know that I am moving to Houston! With Steve graduating from his masters program in less then two weeks, we have been busy bees packing and preparing for our move to Houston.

We've both lived in San Antonio for the past 6 years and while Steve is from Houston, I will be completely new to the city. I am extreamly excited about exploring a new city and making lots of new memories, but at the same time I am sad to be leaving the place I've come to call home.

I know moving will be an adventure and I am completely open to it. I can't wait to shop for furniture, decorate our apartment, eat at new restaurants, and find new spots that we will call our own. I also know life will be tough for a while especially since I'm leaving behind all my friends and my family will be far away. I think the biggest adjustment will be not living with my best friend/roommate/little sister Clair. We've lived together for almost 3 years and it's been a crazy and fun adventure. "If there ever comes a day we can't be together, keep me in your heart, I'll stay there forever." - Winnie the Pooh 

Things will be a little slow on the blog for the next couple of weeks. I know most of you understand, especially since moving is such a big ordeal! I do have lots of ideas to share with you once I've settled in to my new home so stay tuned! In the mean time keep up with me through Instagram, Twitter, and Facebook!
