Get Organized - Day Planner

The new year hit me so quickly that I can hardly believe it's already February. I have so many goals I'd like to accomplish this year but if every month reflects what I did in January then I won't have much to celebrate. While I was up late thinking about everything I want to do (workout more, blog more, eat healthier, etc) I decided that I really need to commit to schedule my days to be more productive.

While my monthly and weekly planners are effective for getting organized I kept finding myself wishing I had more space to write and keep track of everything. This need led me to create my day planner page!

  • Custom header - customize with your name or title for your day
  • Custom section titles - everyone has different goals and needs so the section titles are customizable so you can organize your day how you like
  • Hourly planner - make the most out of your day by scheduling in your most important tasks
  • Menu - plan what you will eat for the day and keep track of how much water you drink

I am using my day planner page to be more productive and schedule in time for the tasks that will help me reach my goals. I like breaking down my day and seeing everything that has to be done and how much time I should be dedicating to it. It really helps to have sections for all my goals so that I always know what I have to do.

Preppy Printable Binder Covers

With winter break behind most of us (at least for those of us who were lucky enough to have one!) it's time for us to go back to school, return to work, or follow through with our organization plans for the new year. For me it's organizing. I have various projects that I am working on, specifically for my 25 before 25 goals, and I want to keep them all in one place.

I bought a plain white binder with clear sleeves and knew I wanted to create something fun and colorful to decorate it. Of course I opted for a Lilly Pulitzer print and my monogram! So I set up my document in Adobe InDesign and came up with 7 binder covers, yes I know I went a little overboard but I couldn't decide which print I wanted to use!

Now you are probably wondering how this could be of any use to you and no it's not another tutorial of how you can make your own, instead I decided to make them completely customizable and all you have to do is download them and change the monogram to your own. Simple! Note, make sure your binder is big enough to hold your contents by checking the ring capacity.

How to Customize:
  1. Click here to Download the PDF
  2. Open file in Adobe Reader. (Get the latest version of Adobe Reader)
  3. Select the existing monogram and delete
  4. Fil in your own monogram (Learn about Monogram Etiquette)
    1. First Initial = lowercase letter
    2. Last Initial = uppercase letter
    3. Middle Initial = lowercase letter
  5. Print your preppy binder covers on white card stock
  6. Admire your new lovely binder covers! Binders never looked this good!
